The Tack

Okay, I've lost a tack! I decided to flip my calendar, removed it from the wall and wa-la...clear tack gone! It's not visible to me on the desk or on the floor. I'm sure it is lost in the crazy colors of the carpet. I have however seen how dusty it is down under the desk and next to the baseboards. Yuck, another thing to add to the "to do" list. And who dusts the tower for their computer? Yea, yea I'm a horrible housekeeper. So here's the dilemma, do I get up and try to walk away? I have no socks, no slippers...no protection and am sure I will then find that stupid tack.
